Web Accumulators
Effortless Web Material Storage with Festoon Web Accumulators
At U.S. Webcon, we proudly present our series of festoon-type web accumulators and other accumulating equipment, expertly designed to simplify the storage of web material during roll changeover on a rewind or to payout web during roll changeover on an unwind system.

Streamlined Operation and Space Optimization for your Web Storage
Our festoon web accumulators offer hassle-free operation with their self-threading feature. With a double pass accumulation capability, these accumulators minimize the required floor space, enabling you to maximize your workspace efficiency. Other types of web storage units are offered.
- J-boxes and open scrays where web material is dumped and then pulled out as need. These are usually used for textiles.
- Also for textiles we offer accumulator conveyors or creeper tables.
Reliable and Controlled Web Handling
Equipped with driven nip rolls and a cantilevered narrow web design, our festoon web accumulators ensure a reliable and controlled handling of your web materials. Our accumulators provide optimal support throughout the storage process from narrow to wide webs.

What is Web Accumulation?
Web accumulation refers to the temporary storage of a continuous material (such as paper, film, foil, fabric, or metal) in a processing line to allow for uninterrupted operation of upstream and downstream equipment. It is commonly used in web processing industries to manage speed variations, facilitate roll changes, and maintain tension control.
What types of Web Accumulators are there?
- Vertical Accumulators – Use a series of rollers that move up and down to store material.
- Horizontal Accumulators – Store material in a horizontal path, often using a festoon system.
- J-Boxes – Open or enclosed metal pan designed to hold fabric in a loose or folded form as it moves thru continuous production lines.
- Loop Accumulators – Form a loop of material that expands and contracts as needed.
- Creeper Table – A conveyor that stores fabric allowing for controlled feeding of textiles to downstream processes.
